How many elopement films will we receive?

This depends on the package that you choose and how much coverage you book me for. I have a number packages that you can choose with different optional extras that can be added to your package.

How much do you charge to shoot adventure elopements or intimate weddings?

I have a number of Elopement Packages & Intimate Wedding Packages. I try and keep it simple with all the details in a single pricing guide for your type fo wedding. You can read more on my Elopement Packages here.

How long will it take for our elopement film to be ready?

Your elopement film is usually ready within 4 months of your adventure elopement or intimate wedding. This enables me to spend the time that I need to make your elopement film epic.

How many elopement filmmakers do you include in your elopement packages?

Generally speaking I work on my own, but sometimes couples really want more than one elopement filmmaker and I can hire a second shooter. Sometimes I hire drone operators. It really depends on what you would like for your adventure elopement or intimate wedding.

Do you travel outside of Ireland?

Yes. I love to travel, so always look forward to shooting adventure elopements & intimate weddings outside of Ireland. I’ve shot adventure elopements & intimate weddings in England, USA (New Jersey), France, Switzerland & Santorini and have many new destinations booked for 2020 (see my travel info). If you’d like to plan an adventure elopement or intimate wedding somewhere epic, I’d love to speak to you.

How long will you stay at our adventure elopement or intimate wedding?

It really depends what you want to capture, what you want to do for your adventure elopement and which of my elopement packages you’ve booked. I have a few different options, depending on what you’re planning to do and what you want me to capture for your elopement film. I like working with my couples to help them plan something epic! My elopement packages start with 4 hours of coverage and go up from there. Some couples want 4 hours of coverage to cover their ceremony and celebrating with their family and then 6 hours of coverage the day after they’re married while they explore and adventure in the beautiful location that they’ve chosen.

How much do you charge for travel?

I keep travel costs to a minimum, but have a standard travel rate for Europe and North America. Anything outside of this I quote as I plan with my couples. If you’d like more details on my pricing, you can find it here.

Can you hold my date?

I operate on a first come, first served basis. The only way to secure a date is by paying the booking fee and signing a contract. If you’d like to book me, please get in touch!

How do I book you as my elopement film maker?

To book me as your elopement film maker for your adventure elopement or intimate wedding is REALLY simple! It’s just two simple steps:

  1. I take a retainer payment to secure your date

  2. We both sign a contract to make sure we’re covered

That’s it.

What happens once we’ve secured a date?

In the lead up to the date of your adventure elopement or intimate wedding, we talk over video messenger and plan what your wedding day will look like. Often we have a broad plan before you book in terms of whether you want everything on one day, how much coverage you want, which elopement package you want to book, etc.. but sometimes whilst we’re planning it all, you decide you want a day after session or want to add coverage or something, so we work through that. We make sure all the vendors are on the same page and we all work together so that you have the adventure elopement or intimate wedding that you’ve always dreamt of!

How can I pay you?

My preference is wire transfer, but can take card payments, Wise or Paypal. I have a USD bank account to make it as easy as possible!

Do you meet with couples before they book?

Yes! I love sitting down with couples to talk and plan their dream elopement! Often couples live overseas, so if that’s the case, I make a good coffee and have an online sit down with them to talk and plan their dream elopement! I want to make sure that couples have an awesome experience, so it’s important to me to connect with couples and to give them as much help, advice, and guidance as I can to make sure it is their DREAM elopement!

Do you have insurance?

Yes, both public liability & professional indemnity.

Do you only shoot adventure elopements & intimate weddings?

My primary focus is to shoot adventure elopements and intimate weddings. Sometimes I shoot engagement films for newly engaged couples, styled shoots, couple shoots, and family shoots. If you have something you’d like a film for, please get in touch. :)

** If you’d like to see an example of an engagement film that I captured, take a look at this beautiful engagement film that I captured for Jordan Connor & Jinjara Mitchell when they visited Ireland during their engagement.

Do you shoot elopement photos as well as elopement films?

I only offer elopement films, so I don’t offer photos in any of my elopement packages. When you book me as your elopement filmmaker, I give you my Exclusive Vendors Guide, which includes details of the best elopement vendors (including elopement photographers) that I’ve worked with and would recommend for your adventure elopement!

Can you recommend other suppliers?

I’ve worked with some amazing people that I’d highly recommend. Once you’ve booked me as your elopement filmmaker, I provide you with my Exclusive Vendors Guide, which contains details of all of the best elopement vendors that I’ve worked with.

What equipment do you use?

I’m quite minimalist in terms of the filmmaking equipment that I use. I tend not to have loads of big and bulky gear all over the place. Usually, for filming elopement videos, I have a couple of cameras on me (attached to a harness) and then sometimes use a gimbal and drone, depending on the elopement. Sometimes I set up a tripod for the ceremony.

If you’d like to see what I use to film elopement videos, you should check out my Elopement Videographer’s Kit List.
