The Best Places To Stay On The Causeway Coast
Where shall I stay?
The videographer and photographer are booked. The plane tickets, wedding dress, suits, and flowers are all sorted. What's next? Now, you have to find somewhere to stay. Thankfully, our part of Ireland has some beautiful options for you. I always encourage people to take their time when booking accommodation to make sure it sets off the whole elopement in style. That doesn't mean you have to opt for 5-star luxury as there are some beautiful places that won't break your budget.
Mill House
If you’re looking for a location that’s central on the Causeway Coast, has lots of space, has an epic view AND has a hot tub, then look no further! Mill House is AWESOME! With such beautiful views, this would be the perfect place for you to stay during your dream elopement.
The Oat Box
Sleeping in a converted horsebox certainly sounds like an unforgettable experience, and The Oat Box provides just that. The Oatbox is a 1968 Bedford TK Horse Lorry on private farmland that has been turned into a luxurious holiday home for two.
It comes complete with mahogany floor and ceiling, stunning vintage furniture and décor, as well as a small balcony and a firepit; the Oat Box is certainly one of the most unforgettable Airbnbs in Northern Ireland.
This is the perfect base to explore the northern coast – and later rest your legs in a setting you won't easily forget.
Foxborough Bubble Den
How about a romantic dome for a magical night? Imagine lying in your canopy bed, looking at the stars! This stylish bubble dome provides just that plus tons of other extras such as super fancy decor, a private fire pit, an outside area with sunset chairs, and a breakfast basket in the morning.
The Bubble Den will give you an elopement to remember! It really can't get much more romantic than this, so don't wait too long as the dome books up quickly. This place is definitely one of my favorites.
Pod By The Pond
If tranquil is what you're after, how about a cozy love nest with a private garden overlooking a peaceful pond?
This pod is an excellent base for outdoorsy couples as it is close to all the beautiful Irish countryside. It comes with a double bed and living area, a toaster, kettle, and coffee machine, as well as a BBQ and a ring gas burner. The bathroom facilities are in an outhouse that will be used just by yourself.

A former shipping container turned into a cute holiday retreat.
Surf ups! Or maybe you'll just sit back and enjoy the sound of the breakers on the shore. This little holiday home was created from an upcycled shipping container and comes with rustic wooden furniture, vintage surfboards, and a porch perfect for watching the sunset over a glass of wine.
It's surrounded by farmland, so expect a good night's sleep and maximum privacy.
Considering its overall cuteness and top-notch location just 15 minutes from world-famous attractions such as the Giant's Causeway and the Carrick-A-Rede-Rope Bridge.
The Greenkeepers Rest
This is a little slice of Scandinavian peace in Ireland. It's a modern hygge retreat where you can enjoy staying in as much as going out. It's close to the stunning north coast beaches and world-famous golf links.
It comes with a fully equipped modern kitchen, open living/dining space, and three comfortable and bright bedrooms you'll wonder if you might just be happy staying in. There's even a private courtyard garden is the perfect place to enjoy some après sun & sea cocktails.

Originally a busy rural farm, the seventeenth-century outbuildings of Limepark have been passionately restored by its current owners. It's the perfect base to explore the North Coast of Ireland as you're only a short drive from the beach and the rest of the stunning sights.
What makes Limepark great for elopements is the range of cottages available. So, if you're coming on your own or with a wedding party, then there is space for you all. Carnalbanagh House
This is a Georgian-style, family-owned Bed & Breakfast located on the Causeway Coast of Northern Ireland.
The country guest house offers a quiet coastal retreat with beautiful panoramic views of the surrounding countryside, including the Donegal Hills, Mussenden Temple, and the River Bann Valley. The house's fields are grazed by the family's own herd of cattle and sheep, which often make for excellent photo opportunities.
